| Calling all MMORPG PLAYERS!!!!! | ||

Alrite please take the time to read the following throughly before posting. My brother and I decide that we were going to make a text based MMORPG. We however need help in a few spots so I turn to the most trustworthy community I know. To give you a quick background on the game... It will be largely based on PvP combat trying to get "bounty" from others by killing them. The leveling system will be based like D2 LOD and there will be PvE aspects to it including bosses, quests, and killing monsters. We need your help creating NPC names/types, creating Items, and suggesting ideas to our game. If you are interested in ANY way shape or form I urge you strongly to post here and say so! I'm insterested I'm a kickass programer, I only fluently know J# and Java right now, but I'd be willing to learn any programing language thats needed(Learning new languages are really easy due to the fact that they almost all share similar commponents). I worked on a game in school for our final in my AP Computer Science class that used DirextX video and sound. lol czech. I will help, send me a PM of what specific things u would like me to create for you, whether it be drawing monsters, or comming up with names and items and shit. I made a video game a long time ago, story line of course, with places, ppl, monsters, xp, everything. It was just for fun. I have played WoW for 2 years, DoD (text based), Runescape, seen guildwars, Kings of Chaos. In case no one knows what kings of chaos is, it is a text based rpg. It was the shit back in high school. I also used to collect Magic the Gathering. PM or xfire me, but PM me anywayz what you would specifically like me to create for you. I look forward to it. P.S. I can draw like i said, i will find a way to post pics of anime i drew back in the day. Professionals seen my shit and wanted me to check out art school. I decided to play CSS all day. I just wanted to comment on your gaming grammar..... You said that this game will be largely pvp meaning player vs player. later on you said this would be pve. While pve can sometimes be taken as player vs everyone it is more commonly used for player vs enviorment. This means a game with no pvp only fighting monsters or whatever your game's enemies are. It would be better said it is a normal mmorpg with focus on pvp aspects. That way there cant be confusion lol. Just a bit of gaming terminology. As for the game itself not a fan of text mmos. I like regular text games like zork though lol. It is pitch black your likely to be eaten by a grew. |
